As the owner of New Endeavors Counseling Associates, like most of you, I continue to monitor the effects of COVID-19 and the recommendations for mitigating the spread of this virus.  With that said, I want to reassure our clients that as we begin to reopen for in person sessions, we will continue to take every preventative measure possible to provide for a safe, clean and sanitized environment for your safety.  We at New Endeavors are following all recommended guidelines of the CDC and our local health agencies and will continue to align with all public health guidelines.  

We are currently reopening for in person services utilizing a controled and phased approach.  Information regarding our office's policies and procedures can be found below.  In addition, please continue to monitor our website and voice mail for any additional information.  In the meantime, we continue to have access to HIPPA compliant secure video telehealth sessions via and Google Meet Up to provide telehealth services for our clients.

Office Safety Precautions in Effect During the Pandemic

Our office is taking the following precautions to protect our patients and help slow the spread of the coronavirus.

  • Office seating in the waiting room and in therapy and waiting room has been arranged for appropriate physical distancing. 

  • My staff and I wear masks.

  • All clients and family members entering our office wear a mask.

  • My staff maintains safe distancing.

  • Restroom soap dispensers are maintained and everyone is encouraged to wash their hands.

  • Hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol is available in the therapy rooms and the waiting room. 

  • We schedule appointments at specific intervals to minimize the number of people in the waiting room.

  • We ask all patients to wait in their cars or outside until no earlier than 5 minutes before their appointment times.

  • Credit card pads, pens and other areas that are commonly touched are thoroughly sanitized after each use.

  • Physical contact is not permitted.

  • Tissues and trash bins are easily accessed. Trash is disposed of on a frequent basis.

  • Common areas are thoroughly disinfected at the end of each day.

  • All clients are required to complete a Covid-19 screening prior to beginning their session.

  • We are running an air purifier to assist with sanitization of our office.
